Infrastructure
Marin RCD is able to support landowners with infrastructure such as fencing and water development projects that do not require new water rights, allocations, or permits from the State Water Resources Control Board, including the following: rainwater harvesting (i.e. from roof drainage), pond or water tank expansion, groundwater recharge, tanks, troughs, and livestock pipeline.
Many infrastructure-related projects are implemented through our COW program, which primarily works with dairy producers in watersheds across Marin County.

RCD partners evaluate existing troughs during a field tour for COW.
