Fiona is an aspiring soil scientist from Marin who has dedicated time to observing soils in California, enduring rain and mosquitoes to study soils in Alaska, and investigating sediment delivery from rangeland gullies. In her spare time, you might find Fiona scrutinizing roadcuts, diving into a science podcast, or trying a new sweet or savory recipe. She is priviledged to be able to work and learn alongside land managers in Marin.  Fiona earned her B.S. in Environmental Management and Protection with a minor in Environmental Soil Science from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo.
